The CP895 character set
- More info can be found on cestina.cz
- The id CP895 is probably unofficial and it might have never been officially assigned. Who knows?
Why would anyone be interested?
In the old good DOS times, there have been a lot of CZ/SK applications using
this encoding. If you happen to want to run them now, you might find the
following files interesting:
- cp895.c - a patch that makes
DOSEMU aware of this encoding.
- kam_to_uni.trans - an unicode mapping that
can be used with setfont from the kbd package.
See my cp2utf8 utility if you need
a generic character set conversion tool.
